Local and national administration:
Andorra la Vella is the nation’s administrative headquarters. Just steps away from one another, you will find the buildings of the Central Government of Andorra, the General Council of Andorra, the main offices of the Judiciary Power, and the building of the “Comú” of Andorra la Vella.

Financial centre: Andorra la Vella is the financial heart of the country. Andorra’s five bank groups are all headquartered in this parish and attend to the public with extensive business hours, Monday through Friday.

Transportation and connections: Andorra la Vella is well connected with both the national and international road systems and also has two heliports. Moreover, located just 40 km away is the Seu d’Urgell Airport (Spain), which receives flights with destination Andorra. Finally, three hours away are the international airports of Lleida and Barcelona, in Spain, and Toulouse, in France.

Foreign representation: Andorra la Vella also accommodates the offices of several foreign embassies and consulates: Spain, France, Germany, Estonia, Italy, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Russia, Switzerland and Slovakia.
